The Service Node platform, is CITEC’s solution for the world of Tlc operators.

Such a central platform is designed to supply the customers of telephone operators a group of advanced voice and video applications.

CITEC is an InteractiveMedia partner, business leader for the development of communication solutions for network operators and service suppliers.

The main types of payable services on the Service Node platform concern the questioning and updating of data banks, voice messaging, the alarm clock, the exact time and telegram dictation, as well as a combination of services on the intelligent network including the information of changing the subscribers number or the emergency call service.

The Service Node platform fulfils the interface function between the customer telephone that accesses the system through a public network and the service provider; such an interface can be an internal element of Service Node itself (e.g. alarm service) or external to the platform.

Once a call has been received, Service Node is able to recognize the client through the identity of the call, and interacts by sending phone messages or synthesize (text to speech) and the acquisition of information in DTMF modality (tones) or directly via voice using the speech recognition function.

The platform is able to interface with the service provider's network, in the case that is necessary to acquire external contents/services to complete the interaction with the customer.
